Asiedu Nketiah Lied to NDC that Election 2020 was Rigged, Wrote to EC Conceding Defeat – Koku Anyidoho

Samuel Koku Anyidoho, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the founder and CEO of the Atta-Mills Institute/Former, has revealed that Asiedu-Nketiah, the current general secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), lied to the NDC about the 2020 election being rigged by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Koku Anyidoho went on to say that Asiedu-Nketiah had also written to the EC, admitting loss, but this was done without the knowledge of the party. According to what was written in the letter, John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s presidential candidate, got 47.396% of the votes.

This information was made public with supporting proof on Mr. Koku Anyidoho’s Twitter handle. Mr. Koku Anyidoho is a former Presidential Aide and Head of Communications in the Office of the President in Ghana. He was also the immediate-past Deputy General Secretary of the NDC.

“Even before Asiedu-Nketiah lied to the NDC that the 2020 election was stolen from us, he had written to the EC admitting loss and asking a refund of filing expenses in accordance with the statutes of the EC.” Asiedu-Nketiah lied to the NDC, saying that the 2020 election was taken from us. Where exactly is the money that was reimbursed, and how accountable has he been over the course of these many years? He explained.

The Functional Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress has requested a refund of the deposit made in favor of its presidential and parliamentary candidates, according to a letter that was sent to the Electoral Commission and signed by Johnson Asiedu-Nketia.

Regulations 46, subsection 1 and 3, of the C1-17 were created to spell out the conditions for a refund or forfeiture of a deposit made by the presidential or parliamentary candidates. In order to be eligible for a refund, a presidential or parliamentary candidate must obtain a minimum of 25% and 12.5%, respectively, in the general election. It would be greatly appreciated if you could refund their deposit.

In recent years, Mr. Asiedu-Nketiah, also known by the alias “General Mosquito,” has been featured in many news articles. Publications imply that he has disregarded advice from the previous president, John Dramani Mahama, to not run for the position of National NDC chairman in the upcoming NDC national elections. These elections are scheduled to take place in the near future.

Mr. Koku Anyidoho has also made disparaging remarks about the former president of Ghana, implying that the former president is not the solution to Ghana’s current difficulties. “The situation in Ghana is quite dire; Is John Dramani Mahama be the solution to our problems?” Have we not been witnesses to his presidency of the dead goat? He polled people on Twitter.

In addition to this, he has asserted that he has been labeled as an opponent of the JM. They argue that I am anti-JM; if that’s the case, then who is JM supporting? Is JM a supporter of the Rawlingses or the Atta-Mills? JM is an advocate for himself. In response to this, he wrote in a tweet, “I will never support someone who is self-centered.”
