Asante Kotoko part ways with 18 players within 2 days

Asante Kotoko, following a lackluster year in the Ghana Premier League, have shifted their attention to the 2024–2025 campaign and made significant roster changes.

In order to make room for new arrivals in advance of the upcoming season, the Porcupine Warriors announced on Wednesday the termination of the contracts of seven players.

It is anticipated that the players will find a new club before the commencement of the upcoming season, having mutually agreed to depart the team.

Rocky Dwamena, Shadrack Addo, and Samuel Asamoah are a few of the noteworthy exits; they all joined the team prior to the season beginning from Bofoakwa Tano.

This indicates that in less than two days, the Ghanaian powerhouses parted ways with a total of eighteen players.

On Tuesday, 11 players, including captain Danlad Ibrahim, Moise Pouaty, Eric Zeze, and others, were shown the exit door.

Kotoko are reflecting on the performance of their players in the just concluded Ghana Premier League campaign.

They are determined to challenge the top spot in the Ghana Premier League next season and the squad overhaul is a significant step towards achieving their goal.

The following players contracts have been terminated by mutual consent:

Samuel Asamoah

Nanabayin Amoah

Isahaku Fiseini

Rocky Dwamena

Richmond Opoku

Julius Ofori Ziggy
