Ali Ahmed Aslam Biography

Chicken tikka masala is widely regarded as having been conceptualized and first prepared by Ali Ahmed Aslam, a Pakistani-born chef who worked in Scotland. He was born in 1944 or 1945 and passed away on December 19, 2022. His birth year was either 1944 or 1945.

Ali Ahmed Aslam Early and Personal Life

Aslam was born in what is now the province of Punjab in Pakistan, which was then known as the Punjab area. It was possibly in 1958 or 1959 that he moved to Glasgow with his family. He was a small youngster at the time. It is not obvious what year it is.

Even though the origin of the dish is unknown, it is commonly believed that he was the one who invented chicken tikka masala. It is reported that he came up with the meal by winging it when it came to the sauce, which consisted of a can of condensed tomato soup and a variety of other spices.

Ali Ahmed Aslam said that he came up with the recipe for “Britain’s favorite curry” in response to a patron’s comment that his dish lacked moisture, and that this was how he came up with the name “Britain’s favorite curry.”

The death of Aslam took place in Glasgow on December 19, 2022, when he was 77 years old. The funeral service for him took place the day after he passed away at the Glasgow Central Mosque, and others from the wider community were asked to attend.
