Alan Kyeremanten, a candidate for the position of flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has stated that he intends to administer an inclusive government in Ghana if he is elected president of that country.
The ex-Minister of Trade and Industry has stated that, should he become leader of the NPP and Ghana, he will respect the will of the Ghanaian people.
Mr. Kyeremanten made these statements in a message that he published on social media: “I will run a government by the people, for the people, and of the people.”

In a related development, Alan Kyeremanten had a group of market queens select the flagbearer nomination forms on his behalf.
The organization is well-known for its work in grassroots mobilization, and they paid the Ghc50,000 cost required for Alan to compete in the presidential primaries that will take place on November 4.
Comfort Serwaa, the leader of the Kumasi Tomato Sellers Union, stated that they made the decision to pay the nomination money for Alan to demonstrate that they have faith in his capability and potential to govern this country.
We came to the conclusion that we would not let Mr. Kyerematen choose his own forms; instead, we would pool our resources and pay the sum on his behalf. Therefore, we have come to collect the necessary paperwork for Alan so that he can run for president of Ghana.
In January 2023, Mr. Kyerematen focused his attention on running for president of the country; therefore, he resigned from his position as Trades Minister.
This is not the first time the Queens have shown their support for the Kumasi Race Course Market Women; in the past, they have provided the Kumasi Race Course Market Women with cement and quarry stones as donations.
During the course of their talks, they also met with the executives of the Kumasi Central Market. They urged the market ladies to support Mr. Kyerematen and highlighted his successes in the Ministry of Trade and Industry as grounds to back his candidacy.
