To ensure Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen is elected president, the youth wing is ready to travel the entire length and breadth of the nation.

Some youthful admirers of Mr. Kyerematen who have supported him since the beginning of his presidential campaign in the early 2000s feel that he is the only chance for the nation to restore its former splendour.

Their optimism is based on Alan Kyerematen's demonstrated track record, which dates back to his appointments as Ghana's ambassador to the United States, trade advisor at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, and minister for trade and industry under President John Agyekum Kufuor. Later, President Nana Akufo-Addo reappointed him to the same position.

The SRC president went on to highlight Mr. Kyerematen's accomplishments in the One District, One Factory (1D1F) automotive industry, Presidential Special Initiatives (PSI), Millennium Challenge Accounts, Youth, and Master Card YouStart.

“With Alan, we are certain that we have a leader who considers and engages youth. We implore all young delegates to cast their ballots and support him for president of Ghana,” he said in conclusion.

Alan Kyerematen, a former trade and industry minister, filed his nomination papers for the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) presidential primary today at the Accra-based party's headquarters.

Following the collection of nomination forms for Hon. Kyerematen by market queens from the 16 areas of the nation, he submitted his forms.

Members of Parliament for Lambussie in the Upper West Region, Hon. Bright Bakye Yelviel Baligi, were present to support the former Minister.

“My MP colleague and I have the privilege to be part of this historic occasion,” Hon. Baligi stated during his speech at the event. I thus introduce to you Mr. Industry, Hon. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, the next president of Ghana, the man of action and integrity who lives up to his words, the unifier, the guy to rescue, rebuild, restore, and reward the party.

The large crowd of admirers in attendance responded with a thunderous round of applause in agreement.

The lawmakers also praised Hon. Kyerematen for being a real-world economist who follows through on his promises.
