A-G drops charges against Collins Dauda, four others

Dr. Dominic Ayine, the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, has officially dropped all charges against former Works and Housing Minister Collins Dauda and four other individuals involved in the Saglemi Housing Project case.

The notice, signed by the Attorney-General, officially ends the state’s case against the accused people.

Background
The defendants previously faced 70 accusations, including inflicting financial harm to the state, in connection with the contentious $200 million Saglemi Affordable Housing Project.

The case was initiated by the Akufo-Addo administration. It is claimed that Collins Dauda, Kweku Agyeman-Mensah, and Alhaji Ziblim Yakubu were instrumental in the project’s planning and execution.

Additionally, Andrew Clocanas (now deceased) and Nouvi Tetteh Angelo were suspected of financial violations associated with the project.
