Pele, a former top player for Santos FC and a football icon, has been plagued by a variety of health problems in recent years, which ultimately led to his passing away. However, the 79-year-old former Brazil athlete is no longer with us since he passed away after losing his younger brother Zoca to prostate cancer.
Zoca Biography
Zoca was Pele’s younger brother by two years, but the two of them shared a passion for the sport of football. Although he was a member of the Santos FC team, Zoca was never able to achieve the same level of success that his older brother did throughout his career.
In 15 matches played for Santos FC, Zoca scored four times. In spite of this, Zoca eventually became Pele’s counselor and remained by his side throughout his illustrious career.
Bebeto Fornos, Pele’s adviser and spokesperson, reported that Zoka was buried in Santos while Pele was quarantined at his home due to the growing coronavirus. Pele was unable to attend the funeral since he was quarantined at home.
