A Ghanaian lady, Princess Asante has won a giveaway of $25,000 from an American Youtuber who announced his giveaway contest on X, formerly Twitter.
Born, James Stephen Donaldson, the Youtuber with online alias Mr. Beast posted on January 22 on X that he will award ten random people an amount of $25,000 if they follow him and repost his giveaway announcement post after a specific timeline.
Apparently, Mr. Beast had won $250,000 from his first video he posted on X and decided to do a giveaway with the proceeds.
“I’m gonna give 10 random people that repost this and follow me $25,000 for fun (the $250,000 my X video made)” Mr. Beast posted adding that he will announce winners for the seemingly fun contest in 72 hours.
After 72 hours, Mr. Beast announced the ten random winners on his official X account and a Ghanaian lady was fortunate to be amongst the winners.
The shocking incidence has generated many conversations on X with Mr. Beast trending number one as of 5:30 pm on January 26 with over 15000 posts.
