Wiawso College of Education Alumni Association Elects New Executives.

The Wiawso College of Education Alumni Association has elected new executives. The Alumni Association comprises old students and well-wishers of the school. The successful election was conducted on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022 at the college auditorium.

The newly elected executives are as follows:

Chairman: Rev. Canon. Joseph Obiri Yeboah – Anglican Priest

Amponsah Ansurogya, 1st Vice

2nd Vice-Eunice Asante Mensah

The Secretary and Deputy 1. Rejoice Dzemefe. 2. Richard Osei Mensah.

Chairman’s Remarks

The newly elected chairman thanked the almighty God for the opportunity given him to serve his alma mater as the Chairman of the Alumni Association.

He commended the former executives led by Mr. Kwasi Adjei, all the professors the college has produced, and all the members of the alumni association and promised to continue the good work of the former administration.

He further asked for the support of all members in Ghana and those outside Ghana to help uplift the name of WATICO.

Bishop Nzemah of the New Apostolic Church, who happens to be an alumnus, congratulated the new executives and urged all members to support the executives to deliver and pledged to support in lifting the image of WATICO high.

The Principal of the College, Dr. Emmanuel Carsamer, pledged his support for the alumni association and urged them to come to the aid of the college as soon as possible.

Mr. Ackaah Mensah, former Vice Principal of the college, also urged members and executives to collaborate to ensure the association’s growth and objectives are met. He also promised them to avail himself of any assistance should the need be.
