Georgina Rodriguez, who is currently seeing Cristiano Ronaldo, has stated why she took a break from her relationship with the Portugal and Al-Nassr superstar.
According to the Argentine model, she ended her relationship with the football icon after the unexpected cardiac arrest of her late father. This was the reason given by the model.
The two have been together since 2016 when the 29-year-old model first met Ronaldo. Together, they have two children.
Their relationship ended at one point as she went through a difficult period following the passing of her father, Jorge, in 2016, who had suffered a terrible stroke.
During an episode of her series “I Am Georgina” on Netflix, Rodriguez discussed the challenging time she was going through seven years ago.
“Cristiano played many games, and the incident with my dad also took place around that time.” I was a little distant, actually, since I was depressed, and one day we ran into each other at another function, and he invited me out to dinner… She told the Daily Post that she had the following thought: “Finally, my chance has come.”
Earlier, the former Juventus goal machine had stated that the two had temporarily separated in their relationship.
