We’ve built more schools, interchanges, roads than any government in the 4th Republic – Bawumia

Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumaia has highlighted that the Akufo-Addo government has throughout recent years in office fabricated more schools, streets, airports, interchanges than any other government in the Fourth Republic.

He spoke to Ghanaians to remember these accomplishments of the government amidst the financial unrest they are burdened with presently.

Dr Bawumia demonstrated that the difficulties are being felt universally, not just in Ghana.
In a comment at the Hogbestosto Celebration at Anlo in the Volta District on Saturday November 5, he said “we as a whole realize we are confronting worldwide monetary emergency which Togbe Sri III alluded to. This is an emergency that is being felt all around the world and the cost for many everyday items advanced across the globe.

“If you look at the cost for most everyday items as estimated by the rate of inflation, among 2019 and presently, the rate of inflation has expanded by five-overlap in Ghana, it has expanded by sixteen-overlay in Togo, it has expanded by eleven-crease in Senegal, it has expanded by seven-overlap in Cote D’Ivoire and eight-overlay in the Unified Kingdom.

“The increase in the cost of living has caused difficulties in Ghana as well as numerous nations. As a matter of fact, the BBC noted around fourteen days ago that up to this point, this year, in 93 nations we have had public protest against the inflated cost for many everyday items. It is essential to know anyway that in the midst of all of this disturbance we ought to place things in points of view.

He added “The government of Nana Akufo-Addo has throughout recent years found numerous ways to reposition and change the economy . So whiles we have difficulties today which we are endeavoring to lighten, and Insah Allah, we will manage it, let us not fail to remember what we have had the option to do over the last six years.

“Let me review that our administration access the most recent six years has made a larger number of jobs than any other government in the Fourth Republic, let me review that we have developed a bigger number of roads than any other government in the Fourth Republic, Let me review that we have constructed a larger number of interchanges than any other government in the Fourth Republic, we have built more airports than any other government in the Fourth Republic, a bigger number of railways than any other government , we have constructed a bigger number of classrooms than any other government in the Fourth Republic.”
