A task force sent home several University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) students on Wednesday, July 2, for what they termed as indecent dress.

Following prior reports that the institution will no longer allow unsuitable clothing on campus, the measure was taken.

Myjoyonline.com has learnt that impacted pupils were requested to leave the classroom and go back to their homes or dorms to change before being permitted to return.

According to a victim who spoke on condition of anonymity, several of them were turned away on Wednesday morning and told to come back only after changing into “more appropriate” attire.

When this report was filed, the UPSA administration had not yet commented on the development.

According to reports, the action is a part of the university’s renewed attempts to enforce its code of conduct and encourage student organisation.
