There’s no freeze on employment – Finance Minister insists

Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, the finance minister, has underlined that there is no employment freeze in the public sector.

In an interview with Channel One TV on Wednesday, March 12, he refuted claims that the government had frozen employment in various sectors.

Dr. Ato Forson’s statement comes amid concerns over job chances in the public sector, with many wondering if the government has placed restrictions on new recruits.

There is no freeze on employment,” he emphasised, assuring the people that recruiting will continue by the country’s economic demands.

His words are anticipated to reassure job seekers and public sector employees concerned about the government’s hiring policy.

The Finance Minister stressed that the government remains dedicated to creating jobs and improving working conditions, particularly for young people.

The explanation also demonstrates the government’s commitment to maintaining important public services and ensuring that key areas such as health and education have appropriate people.

Dr. Ato Forson’s reassurance is consistent with the larger economic strategies focused at improving Ghana’s workforce and promoting prosperity.
