A teenager named Nana Zinabu, who was between the ages of 18 and 19, was found dead with used condoms in her bedroom in Twifo Praso, which is located in the Central Region’s Twifo Atti-Morkwa District.
There were three used condoms discovered close to her body, which led to suspicions of foul play.
The Ghana News Agency reported that the body of the victim was discovered at around 4:30 a.m. by an eyewitness who lived in the same residence.
After waking up to prepare food for sale, the witness saw that Nana Zinabu’s door was ajar.
When she entered, she discovered the victim lying nude and her mouth shut with something that looked like superglue.
Near the body, three used condoms and apples were also discovered.
Neighbours responded to the witness’s instant concern by reporting the incident to the Praso Police Station.
The deceased was scheduled to graduate from her sewing apprenticeship this year, hence the occurrence has caused alarm and terror among the locals.
The Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Hospital has received the body for additional testing.
The Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Police Commander, Superintendent Charles Addei Boateng, has reassured the people that investigations are in progress and those responsible will face consequences.
In order for the victim to receive prompt justice, authorities are asking anyone with pertinent information to cooperate with the investigation.
