It was a historic occasion when he appeared on the Ballon d’Or stage because she was the very first Afrobeats artist to ever perform there.
The highlight of his performance was when he stepped down from the stage to have a more personal interaction with a few of the players who were nominated for awards and were in attendance at the ceremony.
The singer made a kind gesture by extending his hand, and some of the players, including Kylian Mbappe of PSG, Erling Haaland of Man City, Bernardo Silva, and others, enthusiastically shook hands with him. As a result, the interaction was transformed into a touching scenario that could have been lifted from a feel-good movie that has gone viral on the internet.
