Prince Heinrich XIII Biography
An organization is being accused of hatching a scheme to topple the current government of Germany and replace it with a self-proclaimed prince as the country’s next leader.
As a result of the fact that there is a suspicion that an armed attack against constitutional bodies was going to be planned, the charges have been described as a significant anti-terror operation.
This information was provided in a post that was made on Twitter by the German Minister of Justice, Marco Buschmann.
One of the defendants in this case is an old man who goes by the name “Prince Heinrich XIII.” He is supposed to be the leader of the so-called Reichsbund and is referred to by that title. In addition, he is one of the defendants in this case.
Who was Prince Heinrich XIII?
It is generally accepted that the name is a reference to Prince Heinrich XIII, who was given the title of Prince Reuss of Greiz in the year 1800 and retained it until the year 1817, when he passed away at the age of 69.
The feat for which the Prince is most well known is the reconstruction of Greiz following the catastrophic fire that ripped through the city in the year 1802.
As a consequence of the dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire, Henry XIII was invited to join both the Rhine Confederation and the German Confederation as a member state.
During the years 1814 and 1815, he was embroiled in a territorial dispute with the Kingdom of Saxony that took place at the Congress of Vienna. He won this fight and got the estates of Altgommla and Kühdorf.
