President Nana Akufo-Addo says ‘we will build the National Cathedral by all means’

The National Cathedral’s construction has been halted due to a shortage of financing, but it appears that the President will not budge. President Akufo-Addo has underlined his commitment to finishing the project no matter what it takes.

This information comes more than two weeks after it was stated that the Secretariat’s Executive had stopped constructing as a result of a funding shortfall. During the memorial service for his late father, Zoomlion CEO Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, he made his most recent affirmation.

President Akufo-Addo promised to see the project through to completion in an address he gave on Sunday at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) in Accra.

We shall build the National Cathedral by all means necessary, and before I tell you what I have to, we shall complete the structure.
