Parliament will continue sitting today, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, for the second meeting of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic’s first session.
This follows a formal notification given by Speaker Alban Bagbin under Order 58 of the House’s Standing Orders.
Proceedings are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Parliament House in Accra.
Members will resume the business that was left incomplete at the last meeting. This includes the consideration of significant bills, committee reports, and other items already before the House.
The second meeting is expected to be a hectic one, as government business and legislative processes ramp up ahead of the mid-year budget review.
