This does not include defaulters who have submitted their applications to be included in the national service programme for the current year.
NSS releases pin codes for general enrolment for 2023/2024 postings
The management of the scheme issued a statement that was signed by the Assistant Director of Corporate Affairs of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Ambrose Entsiwah Jr.
The statement requested that all eligible Ghanaian students in their final year of school log on to the Scheme’s website at www.nss.gov.gh in order to access their PIN Codes with their respective school Index Numbers and dates of birth.
“The following step is to proceed to any branch of ADB Bank Ltd. to make a payment of GH40.00; alternatively, through the MTN MoMo platform for GH41.00, to activate the enrollment process,” he continued. “This will complete the enrollment procedure.”
According to Mr. Entsiwah, the last day to register for the event is Saturday, August 19, 2023.
“Management urges accredited tertiary institutions that are yet to submit their supplementary final year lists to do so as soon as possible, in order to enable the Scheme to process them also for enrolment in the 2023–2024 national service.
This will allow the Scheme to accommodate more students.” “I would like to add that I would advise all Ghanaian students who are eligible for their final year to make sure that they personally complete the enrollment process in order to avoid making any errors that could later affect the processing for their deployment,” he said.
