President John Dramani Mahama is to embark on a thank-you tour in the Northern Region on Saturday, March 22, 2025, to convey his thanks to the people for his victory in the December 2024 election.
As part of the journey, the President will pay a courtesy visit to the Overlord of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Abukari Mahama II, at the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi.
The President will subsequently travel to Tamale, where he will attend a public engagement at Jubilee Park.
The event is expected to attract both party supporters and citizens.
Mahama is anticipated to utilise the opportunity to thank the people of the Northern Region for their support and restate his administration’s commitment to carrying out its pledges.
