NDC Still Pursuing Agenda “Ken Must Go” according to Haruna Idrisu.

Honorable Haruna Iddrisu, a member of Parliament for Tamale South and the current minority leader in Parliament, has reaffirmed the position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over the dismissal of Ken Ofori-Atta as the Minister of Finance.

The leader of the minority faction has stated that the opposition party will not back down from their stance, and they have extended an invitation to National Patriotic Party (NPP) members of parliament who are still interested in joining their stance.

It should be recalled that the leader of the majority party issued a statement in which he stated that the members of the party are in agreement and that any action against the finance minister would have to wait until the conclusion of the negotiations with the IMF as well as the presentation of the budget for 2023 to parliament before it could be taken.

Hurana Iddrisu reaffirmed, when speaking on the floor of the house, that a motion to censure the minister of finance will be brought up. He addressed the chamber and stated, “Mr. Speaker, I have until the 10th of November to move the motion, and I will move the motion.” Those individuals who share our values and are willing to dance with us, Mr. Speaker, they will be welcomed in the ballots that are kept secret.

The NDC call for the sack of the finance minister has been received with open arms by the majority of Ghanaians as the country is facing torrential living.
