Nana Kwame Bediako, often known as Cheddar, an independent presidential candidate and leader of the New Force, has revealed his running mate for the December 7 presidential contest as Dr. Maryam Issaka Kriese.
Nana Kwame Bediako emphasized Maryam’s skills and experience at a news conference in Kumasi, stating she was the ideal candidate to guide him toward national development.
Through strategic control of investments, licensing of capital market operators, and creating important rules, she, as Senior Manager at the Securities & Exchange Commission, Ghana, helped define the financial scene of the country. Nana Kwame Bediako said she is at the vanguard of financial emancipation since she trains market operators and educates investors.
Distinguished scholar Maryam Issaka Kriese has taught at the University of Professional Studies, Accra and the University of Ghana Business School.

Her remarkable academic record—including a PhD in Finance, an MBA, and advanced certifications in Islamic Finance and ERP software—complements her great financial acumen. She is a well-known supporter of women’s rights and a Muslim by faith.
As many Ghanaians show dissatisfaction with the political situation in their nation, the New Force has been gathering pace recently.
The ticket belonging to Nana Bediako and Maryam is supposed to be a substitute for the two main political parties.
