The Joint Transition Team reached an agreement to manage ongoing payments, recruitments, and other actions carried out by the outgoing administration.
At its second meeting on Friday, December 13, 2024, the team decided that any substantial activities of this sort should be presented for evaluation and approval on a case-by-case basis.
According to the Spokesperson of the Mahama Transition Team, the directive is meant to guarantee openness, clarify the status of these operations, and establish a fair and peaceful mechanism for resolving any related disputes.
They highlighted the importance of following this guideline, asking all public officials to completely comply and avoid giving in to undue pressure.
The law intends to maintain accountability and cultivate cooperation during the transition phase, allowing for a smooth and orderly handover between the incoming and exiting governments.
