Afronitaa and Abigail, who placed third on the 2024 season of Britain’s Got Talent, have received praise from former president John Dramani Mahama.
Mahama praised the pair for their outstanding achievement at the competition in a Facebook post.
He remarked that their performances demonstrate the incredible talent and inventiveness that Ghanaian youngsters possess.
“You’ve given us another reason to be proud of our country, Ghana, and the talent and creativity of its youth. Go all out, Abigail and Afronitaa!” he posted.
Afronitaa and TV3’s Talented Kidz winner Abigail Dromo placed third on Season 17 of Britain’s Got Talent.
The finals of the competition were held on Sunday, May 2, 2024, in London, UK. Despite not being able to win the ultimate prize, the duo has been phenomenal from scratch of the competition and have incessantly wowed the judges with incredible performances.
Their significant achievement – advancing to the finals caught the attention of many Ghanaians, who praised the duo for the global recognition.
