Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson is scheduled to propose the 2025 Budget and Economic Policy to Parliament today, March 11, 2025.
Minister of Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu has reassured Ghanaians that the government is still dedicated to implementing its social and economic pledges.
Speaking to reporters following a recent cabinet meeting, he affirmed that the fiscal policy will mirror the administration’s 120-day pledges, which include the elimination of the betting tax and COVID levy.
In addition, the budget will detail the financial situation that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government inherited, as well as offer hope and strategic goals for national growth.
Ahead of the 2025 budget announcement, the Finance Minister, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, promised Ghanaians that the Mahama administration will always be attentive of their needs.
