Kofi Adoma’s quest to rehabilitation takes a tragic turn as Vim Lady discloses that his partial blindness remains despite many surgeries in Dubai.
With Ibrahim Mahama stepping in to cover the medical expenditures, the question arises: can his vision ever fully recover?
Ghanaian media icon Kofi Adoma Nwawani remains half-blind despite many surgeries, according to journalist and close friend Afia Pokuaa, also known as Vim Lady.
Vim Lady, who first reported Kofi Adoma’s shooting, has revealed that he has had many surgical procedures in the UAE and is currently receiving medical treatment there.
In an emotional message, Vim Lady pleaded for divine intervention to restore Kofi Adoma’s sight, stating that despite medical efforts, he has yet to regain complete vision. She wrote:
As a sister of nearly 20 years, I pray for you. In the name of Jesus, may God heal you and restore your sight.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Mahama, the brother of former President John Dramani Mahama, has graciously offered to cover all costs associated with Kofi Adoma’s treatment in Dubai.
Ibrahim Mahama’s generosity has received much appreciation as Kofi Adoma continues his rehabilitation.
Fans and well-wishers from throughout the country have also prayed for his sight to be restored.
The incident happened in Dormaa during a function that Kofi Adomah was invited to cover.
According to Miracle, Kofi arrived safely at his destination and was greeted by Linda, the Dormaahene’s niece, who helped him find lodging.
The following day, while reporting the event, Kofi was accidentally shot in the eye while firing a musket.
The fallout from the incident was terrible. One of Kofi’s eyes became blind instantly, and the other followed suit shortly after. Miracle stated that Kofi was brought to the hospital following the incident.
Because of the severity of his injuries, he was moved to Accra and then flown to Dubai for specialized care, as local hospitals were unable to manage his condition.
