Now, Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign are giving a sneak peek at his upcoming album.
All things considered, the album is titled Vultures, and it is expected to be a major release as the year draws to an end.
It is actually scheduled to release on Friday, December 15. Considering that Ye is notorious for putting his albums on the back burner, this release date seems ambitious.
Kanye West Previews New Song Featuring Backstreet Boys Sample
But he hosted the record-listening party last night, and there were a ton of big features. We heard music, for example, from North West, Freddie Gibbs, and Lil Baby.
“Everybody,” the opening track, is one of the tracks that seems to be gaining a lot of attention. There is a very clear sample of “Everybody” by the Backstreet Boys in this song.
Ever since the song’s release, a lot of fans have wondered how costly this sample must have been.
It appears that Kanye is ignorant of the situation. TMZ claims that Ye never received final approval for the sample. In other words, it’s unlikely that he’ll be able to disclose this by Friday.
All things considered, a lot may have changed by then. To have this cleared, though, a lot more persuasion will be required. Ultimately, Ye is not a person that many people want to be connected with, and this is an iconic sample.
Furthermore, there is a lot of pressure because the record comes out in three days. It’s possible that Ye decides to completely scrap the song.
In the end, his album and a large chunk of its marketing would suffer greatly from this. Whether or not Kanye will ultimately receive that endorsement remains to be seen.
