Jordan Ayew bags second hat trick for Ghana after 10 years

In Monday's exciting 4-3 victory over the Central African Republic in the Baba Yara Sports Stadium 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Jordan Ayew scored his second international hat trick.

In the fourth qualifying match, the Crystal Palace striker gave Ghana the lead and went on to win in the sixth, sixty, and seventy-ninth minutes.

In a 2014 pre-World Cup friendly against South Korea, Ayew scored his first hat trick for Ghana.

In that friendly, Majeed Waris was hurt, and Jordan Ayew came on in the sixth minute and had an immediate impact.

Shortly after, in five minutes, he scored, tucking a cross from his brother Andre Ayew.

He added a long-range effort in the 53rd minute and completed his hat trick in the 89th minute with a poacher's finish in the box.
