Joe Burrow, an American football player, is the Cincinnati Bengals’ starting quarterback at the moment. Burrow is a Cincinnati Bengals player. He played in the Super Bowl for the first time in 2022. Joseph Lee Burrow was raised in a family of accomplished athletes. His grandmother set a Mississippi state record in basketball in the 1940s when she scored 82 points in a game. His dad’s father played basketball at Mississippi State.
Joe was born on December 10, 1996, to Robin and James Lee Burrow. They were Ames, Iowa residents. His father was an employee of the Iowa State Cyclones at the time of his birth. His father, Jimmy Burrow, along with his uncle and two of his older brothers, all played defense in American football.
Jimmy, a former defensive back all-star in the National Football League and the Canadian Football League, is a retired college football coach. In 2002, Joe attended the Rose Bowl for the first time. At the time, his father was a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
In 2003, Joe’s family moved to North Dakota because Joe’s dad got a job as the defensive coordinator at North Dakota State University in Fargo. Before returning to Athens, where Jim served as the defensive coordinator at Ohio University, they lived in Fargo for two years.
Before enrolling in Athens High School, Joe’s early life was impacted by where his family lived and where his father worked (2011–14). He guided his team to the postseason three times in a row while they were in high school, winning the first seven playoff games in school history.
