Ice Prince was granted bail following the assault on the police officer

The best Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince, genuine name Panshak Zamani, who stood out as truly newsworthy for supposedly attacking a cop in Lagos, has been granted bail.

In a meeting with PREMIUM TIMES on Friday evening, his legal advisor, Folarin Dalmeida, affirmed the advancement. Mr. Dalmeida said his client was let out of the Nigerian remedial focus in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Thursday.

“His bail conditions have previously been met, and he was delivered yesterday (Thursday),” he said. The bail conditions set for the rapper by the judge court in Ajah, Lagos, was N500,000 with two dependable guarantees.

The case was slowed down on Wednesday following the shortfall of the indictment witnesses. Mr. Dalmeida, nonetheless, offered no remark or reference to the shortfall of the arraignment observers at the last hearing. The Lagos State Police Order’s representative, Benjamin Hundeyin, is yet to answer this paper’s solicitation for an update.

The rapper was captured on September 2, and is at present confronting a three-count charge of supposed attack, hindering police obligations, and snatching. The Lagos State Police Order’s representative, Benjamin Hundeyin, had, in a Twitter post, made it known of the vocalist’s capture.

On resumption of his preliminary on September 7, the indictment counsel asked the court for an intermission because of the shortfall of his observers. The preliminary will conclude on October 24.

The rapper and his supervisory crew are yet to offer an official statement about the episode.
