Ghanaians React as Jubilee House was lit up with Ghana and US colors

Ghana welcomed Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States of America yesterday to begin her 9-day tour of Africa which began with a 3- day visit to Ghana.

The Vice President of Ghana, H.E Dr. Bawumia received the American at the Kotoka International Airport where she delivered her welcoming speech.

The US President’s visit has generated a lot of whispers into the ears of some section of Ghanaians who think the visit is to serve as a soothing ground for Ghana to borrow as usual.

As a kind gesture to solidify the relationship between the tow countries, the Jubilee House which is the seat of Government of Ghana was lit up with the colors of the two countries.

Ghanaians on social media have expressed mixed reactions and some are reading LGBTQ meanings into the gesture. Below are some of the comments
