GFA congress approves three-term limit for President

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has formally accepted an amendment that will increase the time restriction for its leadership from two to three terms. The Association’s 31st Ordinary Congress made the decision on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

GFA General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo addressed the delegates, emphasising that the change to Article 37.4 aimed to better align with FIFA’s governance structure.
