On December 25, dancehall musician Shatta Wale held his Freedom Wave Concert at the Accra Sports Stadium. It was a night that won’t soon be forgotten.
A large number of people attended Shatta Wale’s concert, and judging by the footage that was taken there, it appeared as though the arena was completely full of attendees.
In order to illuminate the stadium, supporters of the Shatta Movement turned on the flash lights of their mobile devices and held them aloft in the air. The lights brought in by the spectators gave the impression that the stadium was a galaxy filled with stars.
At the massive event, performances were given by a variety of talented musicians, including Black Sherif, Wendy Shay, Quamina MP, Kofi Jamar, Phrimpong, and Joey B.
The king himself, Shatta Wale, made his entrance into the stadium in grand fashion after the special guests had given the supporters a fantastic display, which caused the extremely large crowd to roar with excitement. In order to reach the stage, Shatta traveled there on a quad bike.
People who saw videos of the venue when it was crowded stated that Shatta Wale had created history since no other Ghanaian musician had ever been able to fill the 40,000-seat stadium before him.
And to tell you the truth, Shatta Wale deserves praise for putting on such a great display by packing the Accra Sports Stadium to its maximum capacity.
You are all aware that Wizkid has lately become the topic of conversation in Ghana after he failed to perform at the Accra Sports Stadium. This was mostly due to the fact that the event organizers for his concert were unable to fill the venue to capacity.
