Later on, he attended the Kenya School of Law and received a postgraduate diploma in law. This qualification qualifies him to work as a lawyer in Kenya.

In 1998, Francis Omondi Ogolla started his career in the legal profession in Kenya as an attorney. Before starting his own law business, Ogolla and Company Advocates, in 2005, he gained experience working for a number of different law companies.

His law business is recognized as one of the most successful legal practices in Kenya, with particular expertise in the areas of corporate law, intellectual property law, and commercial law.

In addition to running his own legal business, Francis Omondi Ogolla has also spent several years working as a lecturer at the University of Nairobi, where he has instructed students in the legal studies program. In addition to that, he is a member of the East Africa Law Society as well as the Law Society of Kenya.
