Donald Trump injured, 2 dead after gunshots at rally

The ex-President Donald Trump’s rally on Saturday night resulted in the deaths of a shooter and a spectator. Another spectator was seriously injured, and the local district attorney confirmed the deaths, as CNN reported.

Trump was onstage speaking to the crowd when the event happened. Trump fell to the ground as shots were fired, and Secret Service members swarmed him right away. Trump was quickly removed from the area, and witnesses saw blood on his face.

Trump is safe and being protected, the Secret Service subsequently confirmed. A spokesman said that after the “heinous act,” Trump was “fine.”
