Club Career
In 2016, Daizen Maeda joined Matsumoto Yamaga FC. His first game was on February 28, 2016, against Tokuyama University for the Emperor’s Cup. He scored his first goal on August 28, 2016, during a game against Tokuyama University.
On January 6, 2017, Daizen Maeda made the move from Matsumoto Yamaga FC to Mito HollyHock in the capacity of a loan player. The contract was in effect from February of 2017 to January of 2018, by which time he had finished the season with 13 goals.
After returning, he was loaned out to the Portuguese club Maritimo once more in 2019, and it was there that he made his first appearance for the club in a match against Sporting CP on August 11, 2019, as a substitute.
