Chalks.org has established another IT center in the Western North Region, Ghana. The first center was opened at Yawmatwa, in the region.
They are also making plans to open a third center at Kwametawiakrom.
This initiative was received with a wild celebration in the community by the elders and the people of the community. The Adjofua community lacks an IT center to train students to keep up with technological advancements in this world.
The schools in the community were more than happy to utilize the service offered to them. The students also could not hide their joy.
In an interview with a member and a facilitator of Chalks.org, Mr. Nyame Shadrach revealed that a new set of computers have been procured to enhance the study of IT in the area.
He added that an online session has begun to teach participants the basics of creating email accounts and others. He revealed that the organization has come to stay and the people in the region would benefit from it not only where the centers are, but because they are expanding their territories.
But they are also looking for people to donate to the good cause that Chalks.org started.
Below are pictures of their work at the center.
