Former Vice President and 2024 NPP Presidential Candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has resumed the New Patriotic Party’s national ‘Thank You Tour’ following a brief hiatus.
The tour, which had already visited 13 regions, was momentarily halted to let Dr. Bawumia and other party officials to attend foreign events, such as the 2025 foreign Democratic Union (IDU) Conference in Belgium.
The campaign will resume on Saturday, May 24, 2025, in the Eastern Region, with Dr. Bawumia and the NPP leadership meeting with party stakeholders in Nkawkaw, Bunsu, and Koforidua.
The team will conclude the regional part of the tour in Asamankese on Sunday.
The visit will subsequently travel to the Greater Accra Region on Monday, May 27, and Tuesday, May 28, for a series of interactions with party stakeholders.
Throughout the journey, Dr. Bawumia has expressed gratitude on behalf of the NPP to party members and Ghanaians for their ongoing support, regardless of the outcome of the 2024 elections.
