Election 2024: Mahama and NDC fear me – Bawumia

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President, has told delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that he is the party’s best shot to keep the party in office after the 2024 elections.

Dr. Bawumia has stated that he will be able to win the 2024 elections and defeat the candidate of the National Democratic Congress, John Mahama, if the NPP chooses him to be their presidential candidate.

Election 2024: Mahama and NDC fear me – Bawumia

Dr. Bawumia stated this while addressing delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the Tema West constituency in the Greater Accra Region. He explained that the NPP needs to select a candidate who can break the curse of the eight-year election cycle.

The Vice President has given the impression that he is the presidential contender in the approaching 2024 election that former President John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are most concerned about.

“They know that we will break the 8, and they know that John Mahama cannot take me on in the North, and they know that I will beat him in the North, and this is why they don’t want me to be the flagbearer.” “They know that I will beat him in the north.”

On Friday, June 16, the Vice President handed in his presidential nomination paperwork, clearing the way for him to run for the position of NPP flagbearer in the upcoming election.
