Asante Akyem North MP delivers parliamentary contribution in Twi

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asante Akyem North spoke solely in Asante Twi.

Speaking in Twi, Ohene Kwame Frimpong advocated for improved road infrastructure to increase local tourism.

He made these remarks on the floor of parliament on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

The Independent MP also brought the House’s attention to poor streetlights and prostitution in his constituency.

He was later ordered by the Deputy Speaker to translate the statement into English.
