Real Madrid’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has committed to an extended tenure with the club, signing a new deal that will keep him at the Bernabeu until June 2026.
The 64-year-old Italian, who returned to Real Madrid for a second stint in 2021, initially on a three-year deal, has now solidified his commitment to the club.
During his managerial career at Real Madrid, Ancelotti has secured an impressive 10 titles, including two Champions League triumphs, with the most recent success in the 2021-22 season.
Additionally, he has claimed one La Liga title, two Copa del Rey, two Club World Cups, two European Super Cups, and one Spanish Super Cup.
Ancelotti previously managed Real Madrid between 2013 and 2015. After departing Everton in June 2021, he returned for his second spell, taking over from Zinedine Zidane.
The seasoned manager holds a distinguished record as the only coach to win four European Cups. Furthermore, he stands as the first manager to conquer all five major European leagues, achieving success in Italy, England, France, Germany, and Spain.
Real Madrid, under Ancelotti’s guidance, had a successful previous season by winning the Copa del Rey. Currently, they lead La Liga after 18 matches and remain active contenders in both European and domestic cup competitions this season
