The United States Embassy in Ghana announced the successful extradition of Joseph Badu Boateng, commonly known as “Dada Joe Remix,” to the US to face charges of fraud.

In a Facebook post, the Embassy reported that its Diplomatic Security Service special agents collaborated with Ghanaian authorities to help the FBI with the operation.

Mr Boateng was indicted for allegedly leading a fraud ring that exploited romance and inheritance plans to dupe American victims out of several million dollars.

The culprit is now in the United States, where he will face justice.
