The 2024 elections will be peaceful and free of violence, according to Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) deputy communications director.

Owusu Bempah added that the NPP will confront the main opposition, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), head-on if it tries to incite violence during the polls.

“After Rawlings, there is not a single bold man left in the NDC; the rest are cowards.” Sammy Gyamfi and Sam George are young children who have no knowledge.

“Sam George has nothing; he is a coward; they are just babies with sharp teeth who babble with their stomachs moving, but when it comes to genuine men, they just talk; talk is cheap.” The NDC is being dared to reveal who among us is a man.

The elections will be peaceful, free, and fair, but if there is any attempt at violence, “We will crash them,” he declared on Sunday, April 9. “We do not want any violence in the elections; they will be free and fair, but if they try, we will crash them all.”

Bryan Acheampong, the minister of food and agriculture, was chastised by the NDC’s national communications officer, Sammy Gyamfi, for saying that the NPP will not cede power to the NDC.
